Energy Audit / Home Energy Use Improvements

Air Pressure Testing

Since the 1st of July 2008 dwellings applying for planning permission will legally require an Air Pressure Test when constructed. Air pressure testing identifies the location and quantifies the rate of leakage within a property. Only air permeability of less than 10m³/(h.m²) will be considered acceptable under the Conservation of Fuel and Energy – Dwellings 2007.
